Iain Murray - Farm Sales Advisor


Iain Murray graduated from the faculty of Agricultural Economics and Food Marketing at Newcastle University in 1993, and spent the following year farming in the north of England on livestock and mixed farming units.

After this year of practical farming he took a year to gain a post-graduate diploma in Rural Estate Management from the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester. Finding that his vocation was not in the field of Estate Management, he spent the following four years working in the agricultural machinery industry. It was during this period that valuable experience was gained with slurry application technologies designed to reduce pollution and maximise the nutrient benefit from manures and slurries.

Iain joined the Biosolids team in 2002 to develop a customer base for the Nutri-bio cake produced at the Tilbury treatment facility in South Essex. In 2004, he also took on responsibility for the Basildon treatment facility farmer customers.
